Be a Bronze Goddess in 5-Min & makeup GIVEAWAY!

Contest details are at the end....
It's that time of year again!!  At least in Las Vegas it is.  Summer temperatures forced us into summer dresses and bathing suits back in April (it hit 100).  So, for those of us who don't have time to bask in the sun or for those of you who avoid the sun like the plague, you can still get that sun kissed look.

I started on Ingrid with Bare Minerals new tinted moisturizer with spf 20.  Nice glow and that slight tint along with the glow helps diffuse imperfections.  And Ingrid wants that because I will not be putting foundation on her today.

Next I used A Little Sun by Bare Escentuals (this is equivalent to a bronzer).  I like that its got gold in it.  You want to hit cheek bones, across the middle of your forehead, down the bridge of your nose and chin.  You can do one layer or a few, to build up more of a "tan".
Curl your lashes (DO IT!! Don't be scared of that thing.  You are the boss of your lash curler).

See...It makes such a difference! (right is curled, left is not)
It makes your eyes look bigger and your lashes look longer!

Black Mascara 2-3 coats.
Summer goodness in about 5 minutes.

Now.....on to the GIVEAWAY!!!

Now that you are ready to bronze yourself up, why don't you share your favorite summer look with Making Up Las Vegas.  Go "LIKE"our facebook page here:, and you will be ENTERED TO WIN a brand new Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara and Bare Minerals eyeshadow.
You have until May 31, 2012 to enter. Prize will be shipped to winner.
Tell all your friends!

May all of your days be beautiful-

  1. Wow!! She looks exactly that, sun kissed. Natural, but refreshed. I love how it looks smooth and flawless. How would a dark-skinned person achieve the same look? :)

  2. Chanel has a great product called Brillance Pur that is like liquid gold, put that all over you face. Next you need a bronzer, this is so different for everyone, and since i do not know exactly how dark you are, you will just have to go play wih bronzers. Hit up Nordstrom and go play in their cosmetic department. Almost every line out here has a bronzer selection. Good luck! We would love to hear about what you find!
