From Winter into Spring!!<br />
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i>What you speak is creation! So, your lips are the focal point of your face! </i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><i>Let people see the glam!</i></b>...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Or, if you are like me, for the dry winter months you have; 2 chap sticks a lip mask, 3 glosses and 5 lipsticks in a purse at all times, because I don't know if I will feel <span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">matte</span>, super high shine or naturally <span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc" style="background: yellow;">glowy</span>...For the spring, I'm a hydrating lip conditioner, Burt's beeswax, 2 gloss & 2 lipstick, type of girl! But, I digress! I simply, must keep something on my lips at all times, so I know what I like & what I simply ADORE!</div>
<img alt=" Lustreglass" src="http://www.maccosmetics.com/images/products/spp/M49X23.jpg" /> Right now that adoration falls on a Winter to Spring staple for my lips, MAC Cosmetics', <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/166/707/Products/Lips/Lipglass/Lustreglass/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Lusterglass in Wonderstruck</a>!<br />
There is something about a sheer PINKY Mauve, light gloss with yummy flecks of gold shimmer mixed in that compliments the the Winter Pallet: (Red's, Oranges, Purple's & Hot Pink's) as well as it does the <span class="J-JK9eJ-PJVNOc">Spring Palet</span>: Bright Paste's, Nudes, & Mocha's. Try it over your favorite colors, today! It will either lightly mute or lift the selected shade! You won't be disappointed! So, in this case it is more than OK to KISS & TELL!</div>

THAT is the question!<span lang="EN" style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"></span><br />
Any one who know me, knows that I wear gloss and lashes to check the mail! No, REALLY, it's true. I have pictures!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMUCN7YQxQdIv3X4Q4bDNolislPh5tk2Zeu6h5l69oCgmzS6IJTwuoaEyp-rjF1xOgO2Tp7L5OE970PZ-xOyEj7dBkdmD3ARiYamiyYYQB9-4Y2E1oYEzK79b8i-tPGnNJeH7LWKBMvJDb/s1600/Zenja+natural.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMUCN7YQxQdIv3X4Q4bDNolislPh5tk2Zeu6h5l69oCgmzS6IJTwuoaEyp-rjF1xOgO2Tp7L5OE970PZ-xOyEj7dBkdmD3ARiYamiyYYQB9-4Y2E1oYEzK79b8i-tPGnNJeH7LWKBMvJDb/s1600/Zenja+natural.jpg" height="320" width="249" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
So it is NEVER a question for me. My new<a href="http://tartecosmetics.com/tarte-item-lights-camera-lashes-mascara" target="_blank">"LASH LOVE"</a>” is from <a href="http://tartecosmetics.com/" target="_blank">Tarte</a>, <a href="http://tartecosmetics.com/tarte-item-lights-camera-lashes-mascara" target="_blank">Lights Camera Lashes 4 in 1 Mascara</a><b><i>! It is EVERYTHING that it says, it is light and not clumpy, adds just enough thickness and length with two coats and the packaging is SEXY! </i></b><br />
<b><i><br /></i></b>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW-7xREpRMLOHgLJSWEhRzmVm-SkhCmRkp3BtmWjqKcUEa7JVYbcMpqb_qe4C5jZ9tSrS07f2ObFPRFCkmEadKNYinuhPmsR_3-i3MVsR8-y1rPRS2Xp_O7PAa60pHiZrJYIfHC5vPyATu/s1600/tarte+mascara.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhW-7xREpRMLOHgLJSWEhRzmVm-SkhCmRkp3BtmWjqKcUEa7JVYbcMpqb_qe4C5jZ9tSrS07f2ObFPRFCkmEadKNYinuhPmsR_3-i3MVsR8-y1rPRS2Xp_O7PAa60pHiZrJYIfHC5vPyATu/s1600/tarte+mascara.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<b><i><br /></i></b>
<b><i><br /></i></b>
<b><i>Aside from ALL that, I LOVE the natural ingredients that TART uses like </i></b><i></i>oryza sativa (rice) bran wax, cyclopentasiloxane, hydrogenated stearyl olive esters. <b><i> I am even MORE impressed with what TARTE does without in their cosmetics: </i></b><br />
<b style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><div>

No matter what type of curl you want to rock that day,try these tips to help the curls hold while having them be bouncy and touchable.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
Holding hairspray at least 6 in away and spray a section of hair with a workable spray like <a href="http://www.overstock.com/Health-Beauty/Sebastian-Shaper-10.6-ounce-Hair-Spray/5855660/product.html?cid=202290&kid=9553000357392&track=pspla&ef_id=UQQ5iAAAQ3LvLMyT:20130129181017:s" target="_blank">Sebastian Shaper</a>, <a href="http://www.sexyhair.com/products/big/index.aspx?p=644124ff-8f43-48c8-8da2-5254c64eb448" target="_blank">Big Sexy Hair</a> spray and play. Lightly brush through the section with a flat paddle brush. Curl the section of hair and hold for 12-15 seconds. Release hair from iron,but let your hair cool before touching the curls.<br />
Once your done curling your entire head-lightly scrunch if your doing tight curls; lightly rake through if your doing medium to loose curls(you don't want the curls looking too perfect which can resemble prom or wedding style). Finish off with a medium hold spray like #SebastianShaperPlus,#SexyHairSpray&Stay.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN8GhHnoiiwqZVJPxiF-rnt6CRNOba44VYzpNJizosbegXglRiPXaLiYDBqzjgUX8PlMU4fLk0mOG18pBz9AFRNZp20OyeC2cCCt1WgCB8kYnZzjaHEpq9nl8pD5ApRFuNB0-ITkkdHON2/s1600/RRP_0586.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN8GhHnoiiwqZVJPxiF-rnt6CRNOba44VYzpNJizosbegXglRiPXaLiYDBqzjgUX8PlMU4fLk0mOG18pBz9AFRNZp20OyeC2cCCt1WgCB8kYnZzjaHEpq9nl8pD5ApRFuNB0-ITkkdHON2/s1600/RRP_0586.jpg" height="213" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. -Hippocrates<br />
Do you know what he is saying here? Words to live by. Don't eat a <a href="http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=477806365605290&set=pb.307228432663085.-2207520000.1358990022&type=3&theater" target="_blank">Mickey D's</a> hamburger, <a href="http://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en/food/product_nutrition.snackssides.120.121.Medium-French-Fries.html" target="_blank">"fries" (i use the term loosely)</a> and soda for dinner and then be mad 'cause your <a href="http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=459491007436826&set=pb.307228432663085.-2207520000.1358990051&type=3&theater" target="_blank">pants don't fit</a> or your face breaks out or you have to take medicine for high cholesterol.<br />
We ARE what we eat. If you want beautiful skin, you must eat beautiful foods and you must be healthy. As much organic as possible, avoid anything that has been injected with steroids, hormones and/or antibiotics. The plant based diet seems to be the most healthful, often times it can reverse horrible ailments, even cancer.<br />
The more I know, the smaller my food choices become. 25+ years ago I stopped eating red meat after a summer job at Burger King. 2+ years ago I stopped eating dairy (directly. I will still eat milk chocolate and an occasional baked good. But nothing creamy or cheesy). 2 months ago I stopped eating poultry and eggs. I feel great, my skin looks better then it did in my 20's and people are often shocked by my age, but no one joins me. Instead, they tell me I am crazy, obsessed etc. They also tell me that regardless of the information, studies and facts I throw at them, they will not change the way they eat. It's kind of sad. I look around to many of my friends, family, acquaintances and see obesity, a whole lot of prescription drugs, acne, hair loss, depression, fatigue, anemia, insomnia a lot of it accompanied with some pretty atrocious eating habits. Most have an excuse for their condition, and it rarely blames themselves or what they put in their mouth. I have watched friends and family die in front of my eyes, who could have extended their lives by simply changing their diet or stop drinking beer every day. There are people who flat out refuse to eat fruits and vegetables. To the adults, I say, pick up a book and read about how you are killing yourself and if you are a parent of a child who you let eat like this...shame on you. Your child will have irreparable damage done if they are raised on pb & J on wonder bread , fast food, school lunches, and are never forced to eat a fruit or vegetable. Our bodies simply CANNOT survive. The problems will come later, after it's too late.<br />
A BIG part of the problem is that people claim to be using "common sense" (which I believe doesn't really exist, but that's a whole 'nother blog in itself). The problem is that we are so inundated with commercials and marketing that are sneaky and confuse us into thinking certain things are healthy. The politics of it are quite disgusting....there are people in position in our Dept. of Agriculture, who inform the public of what is "healthy" and how much of what we need in our diets, who have financial interest in dairy or beef. WTF?....is all I can say to this! That explains the "Milk it does a body good" nonsense, and so much more.<br />
An example of how even the most "health" conscious can be mislead by media, diets, etc. I have a friend, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/TeamTrueBody?ref=stream" target="_blank">Soonya</a>, whose body is smokin hot and she works her butt off for it. It wasn't but a year ago or so that we were discussing the means she uses to get the results that she gets. to sum it up, she told me that she works out hard almost everyday and that ALL she eats is protein.....WHAT? I, of course, launch into a full inquiry....how much water is she drinking? A gallon a day. How often does she poop? Maybe once a week. OMG, colon cancer waiting to happen, not to mention the host of other issues that come when you do not get all the nutrients that your body needs. Now, I am no health professional or nutritionist, it is however, my hobby and my love. I immediately put her on blueberries and suggest a pro biotic. I give her the standard lecture about how food works in synergy and that you need this to absorb that and so on. I was checking in with her at least once a week, "how are you poopin?" I would ask. She now has a very well balanced diet and an even more <a href="http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=492534960799097&set=pb.307228432663085.-2207520000.1358989961&type=3&theate" target="_blank">Smokin Hot Body</a>! But even more importantly, she is much healthier and poops once or twice a day. Phew! Soonya thought she was doing the best thing for her body, but she would not have been able to go on like that for very long with out starting to develop issues. Each day that your body is deprived of essential nutrients, it can NEVER recover, there is no, making it up the next day. The damage has been done.<br />
I have started using one of those <a href="http://www.myfitnesspal.com/" target="_blank">calorie counting apps</a>, not to count calories, but it shows me all the nutritional info. I can see how much protein, calcium, fat, fiber etc that I need and how much I am getting. Most of what I eat is quite healthful, but I need to make sure I am getting all the other stuff that my body needs. I think after a month or so, it will have me trained pretty well and I will no longer need it. <br />
Not all methods work for everyone. But check yourself, <a href="http://thegoodhuman.com/2012/04/17/top-10-food-documentaries/" target="_blank">educate yourself</a>, ask questions and know who is providing the answers and why. A study promoting dairy, paid by the dairy association....hmmmmm, suspect for sure!<br />
Health is not a perspective. It is an actual science. How does your skin look? Do you have regular bowel movements? Do you break out constantly as an adult? Are you losing hair? Are you always gassy? Is your tongue coated (this is bad).....<br />
So, to surmise, WE ARE WHAT WE EAT. Healthy food, lots of water and you are on your way to a more beautiful you!<br />
<br />
May all of your days be beautiful!!<br />

Or, have you been poolside during the summer and were so nervous about your eyebrows washing off? I live in Las Vegas and have very oily skin so I've had such a difficult time finding an eyebrow solution that actually lasts in our 100 + degree summers. <br />
<br />
After a lot of disappointments, I stumbled upon Makeup Forever's <a href="http://www.makeupforever.com/products/aqua-brow.html#.UPYMWx37KSo" target="_blank">Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector</a> and fell in love. Not only do my eyebrows last throughout the day, but I don't have to worry about accidentally wiping or smearing them off.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This item comes in a liquid form in a squeeze tube and I was nervous that it would be messy, but that's not the case at all. You just apply a little bit on your eyebrow brush and fill in the shade of your brows. It will definitely take some getting use to if you have not worked with liquid eyebrow tint. But once you get it right, you will have defined eyebrows that look very natural! Which is very important for me, because I am a natural kind of girl. The product comes in various shades, so you can definitely experiment and play with the colors til you find something that fits perfectly. <br />
<br />
May all your curls be shiny!<br />

Cream shadows have gotten a bad rep due to issues with caking in the crease of the eyelid and wearing off half way throughout the day.<br />
Usually when I hear this from someone, I ask them how they are applying it and what do they use before hand to ensure all day staying power.<br />
There are steps to ensure all day staying power with cream shadows:<br />
1. <span class="stw_link" id="qwiklinxid2" name="jpstw1" style="-webkit-transition: color 1s ease-in 0s; border-bottom-color: rgb(54, 99, 136) !important; border-bottom-style: dotted !important; border-bottom-width: 2px !important; color: #366388; cursor: pointer !important; display: inline !important; float: none !important; font-family: inherit !important; font-size: inherit !important; width: inherit !important;">Apply</span> an eyeshadow primer on your lids first and let it set for a few seconds. Urban Decay's Shadow Potion & Too Faced Shadow Insurance are great primers that help keep your shadow on all day.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJpdHHAD9OJZN3RPdYhxjYvu0cOYkzYg_nu94HC0HE173H5N-vDrfVmjkPwe-q3TJ30lAYGzpusugECs_MRH0XtUgLK4DliCAH1vCF1b5HKpOBUfYchhopHzbyKPM3jMkiJriGl9sJQdNk/s1600/cream+shadow+bobbi+brown.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJpdHHAD9OJZN3RPdYhxjYvu0cOYkzYg_nu94HC0HE173H5N-vDrfVmjkPwe-q3TJ30lAYGzpusugECs_MRH0XtUgLK4DliCAH1vCF1b5HKpOBUfYchhopHzbyKPM3jMkiJriGl9sJQdNk/s1600/cream+shadow+bobbi+brown.jpg" height="256" width="320" /></a></div>
2. I prefer using cream liners from a pot or a tube rather than those that come with a wand applicator. I feel you get better application. You can use your finger to <span class="stw_link" id="qwiklinxid3" name="jpstw1" style="-webkit-transition: color 1s ease-in 0s; border-bottom-color: rgb(54, 99, 136) !important; border-bottom-style: dotted !important; border-bottom-width: 2px !important; color: #366388; cursor: pointer !important; display: inline !important; float: none !important; font-family: inherit !important; font-size: inherit !important; width: inherit !important;">apply</span> , but I suggest a cream shadow brush. <a href="http://www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com/index.tmpl" target="_blank">Bobbi Brown</a>, <span class="stw_link" id="qwiklinxid4" name="jpstw1" style="-webkit-transition: color 1s ease-in 0s; border-bottom-color: rgb(54, 99, 136) !important; border-bottom-style: dotted !important; border-bottom-width: 2px !important; color: #366388; cursor: pointer !important; display: inline !important; float: none !important; font-family: inherit !important; font-size: inherit !important; width: inherit !important;"><a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/index.tmpl" target="_blank">MAC</a></span> , and <a href="http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/" target="_blank">benefit</a> make excellent ones for this purpose. I then blend with a fluffy blending shadow brush.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
3. I usually dust a little of MakeupForEver's <a href="http://www.sephora.com/hd-microfinish-powder-P210400?skuId=1088889" target="_blank">HD Powder</a> on top for extra staying power.<br />
4. Finish off with liner and <a href="http://tartecosmetics.com/tarte-item-lights-camera-lashes-mascara" target="_blank">Mascara by Tarte</a>.<br />
My top Cream Shadow Brands- Nars, Bobbi Brown, <span class="stw_link" id="qwiklinxid5" name="jpstw1" style="-webkit-transition: color 1s ease-in 0s; border-bottom-color: rgb(54, 99, 136) !important; border-bottom-style: dotted !important; border-bottom-width: 2px !important; color: #366388; cursor: pointer !important; display: inline !important; float: none !important; font-family: inherit !important; font-size: inherit !important; width: inherit !important;">MAC</span> ,Urban Decay,Benefit,and MakeupForEver<br />

Its been 3 and a half weeks since I started using RapidLash. I have always wanted fabulous looking lashes, but thought that getting fake ones put on was my only option. And fake lashes, for me anyway, are very costly and a huge pain in the neck. <br />
<br />
So our fabulous CEO told me about RapidLash (which is like fertilizer for your eyelashes). I was very skeptical at first. What if I go blind? What if my eye lashes fall off? So I let her be the Guinea pig so I can see the results for myself. To make sure this stuff was legit. When I saw her a couple Weeks later after she started using it, it was amazing! Her eyelashes were fuller, longer and fabulous!<br />
<br />
So I did some research before I started using it, cause I'm not just going to put anything on my eyes. RapidLash is paraben free and safe to use with contacts. It doesn't have many ingredients which is really like. Here is a list of whats in it and more information on the product <a href="https://www.rapidlash.com/faqs.php">https://www.rapidlash.com/faqs.php</a> <br />
<br />
Of course there are small downfalls like anything else. Some people who used it (only 5%) reported that their eyelids got darker, but it did go away as soon as they stopped using it. Also this is a product you would have to use for as long as you want full lashes. When u do stop, your eyelashes will eventually go back to normal. The tube does last a long time. It retails for 49.99<br />
<br />
Using it is very easy. You just apply it to the base of your eyelashes every night before bed. Once you get your eyelashes to where you want them, you can use it once a week to maintain them. RapidLash states that you see results in 3 1\2 weeks, but I started seeing longer lashes in about a week and fuller lashes in about 2 Weeks. You just have to be consistent and remember to apply it every night for best results. Personally I put in a sticky in my bathroom mirror so I don't forget LOL<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5tdBvjpWbaD5fN32k23Xu48vEwK3TP7CY9Hv1HaKDJUkdFOqo_m9BCWVgkjc_AaGoqiEZgjwHZrtVLnrBg2xBpHmRak6LAvENpn4KqLzA0sMYw4Ul59-yMUzEpe2b9dSOoHmKyLZgNIo/s1600/IMG_20120908_234106.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5tdBvjpWbaD5fN32k23Xu48vEwK3TP7CY9Hv1HaKDJUkdFOqo_m9BCWVgkjc_AaGoqiEZgjwHZrtVLnrBg2xBpHmRak6LAvENpn4KqLzA0sMYw4Ul59-yMUzEpe2b9dSOoHmKyLZgNIo/s200/IMG_20120908_234106.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
I haven't experience any kind of side effects with the product. The only thing I did notice is it does tingle when you first apply it, but its not uncomfortable. Now for the proof....<br />

This line was created by the mother of ALL mineral make up, <a href="http://blog.coolibar.com/one-on-one-with-colorescience-founder-diane-ranger/" target="_blank">Diane Ranger</a>, this is the woman who brought you Bare Minerals. She left there in the early 90's and started <a href="http://www.colorescience.com/" target="_blank">Colore Science</a>. It is a wonderful mineral line, a lot of the minerals having extra anti-oxidants or essential oils added. It stays on great and continue to looks better as the day goes on....everything I want in a mineral makeup. But, WHERE have they been hiding? WHY didn't anyone tell me about this line? I did not even know they existed until March of this year. It seems they do virtually no marketing. They have a website you can order from <a href="http://www.colorescience.com/" target="_blank">http://www.colorescience.com/</a> and then they are in dermatologists offices, cosmetic surgeons, the <a href="http://www.caesarspalace.com/casinos/caesars-palace/casino-misc/qua-baths-and-spa-detail.html" target="_blank">Qua Bath and Spa inside Caesars Palace, Las Vegas</a> along with other spas etc. It's not like you can find them at the mall. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm9bbjCLc-8A4zHs96UmjNhLZddyyL5Pj0Pba2vuiuakxzj2Se9fle4l5f5IJAtloZvrHy8TLVOctNdaQuFAGVX_hVNo1heKzKSE2PXlLdlcnRYCg6N0whMq2V9jynxfJO2vzKq1XsoHwy/s1600/Color+Scince+jar.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" sca="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm9bbjCLc-8A4zHs96UmjNhLZddyyL5Pj0Pba2vuiuakxzj2Se9fle4l5f5IJAtloZvrHy8TLVOctNdaQuFAGVX_hVNo1heKzKSE2PXlLdlcnRYCg6N0whMq2V9jynxfJO2vzKq1XsoHwy/s320/Color+Scince+jar.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Everything that I have tried from this line, so far, I love. The most important piece of my everyday makeup is my foundation. I had always had a hard time, matching my color perfectly. I have found some over the years that do the job, but never "spot on".. Then came mineral make-up. My search was over. Almost. Next I had to find the perfect mineral makeup line. Had to be made in the USA, had to be good ingredients, look good, feel good and be run by good people. I have tried so many....we will review those later. I even looked into making my own! So far, this is my favorite and now I share it with you!<br />
Here is my "before" picture...<br />

There are brushes made specifically for minerals, the right brush can make allll the difference!<br />

Lets see...<br />
I just received one in the <a href="http://www.birchbox.com/" target="_blank">Birch Box</a> that came this month. I LOVE this Birch Box, it's like a monthly box of goodness. They totally hit the mark with this. If you are not familiar with <a href="http://www.birchbox.com/" target="_blank">Birch Box</a>, you should check it out. There is a low monthly subscription fee and you get a box of different deluxe size samples each month. The presentation is faaaaantastic! Even the shipping Box is pink.<br />
Anyhoo, a couple of the goodies inside were <a href="http://www.birchbox.com/shop/dr-jart-beauty-balm-water-fuse-1-7-flo-oz" target="_blank">Dr Jart Water Fuse Beauty Balm Multi-Action Skincare + Make up SPF 25</a> and <a href="http://www.beauty.com/thebalm-stainiac-tinted-gel-blush-beauty-queen/qxp143137?catid=25272" target="_blank">Staniac hint of tint for cheeks and lips in Beauty Queen</a>. So, I tried them out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDfW7B-fA_CGOYk-12g21Q23jiNJCG8zkk060B4vEAB66kjTR1vX2uJB91GYMggZ3v_3S69tqHUN_8rrwxv0KNU8fRoJAI8Zmh9kkd4DZ2cSYN1EtCPMo0oSnBwOocxUH6Uiz0A2MeOMH3/s1600/Lisas+BEFORE+on+face.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" rca="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDfW7B-fA_CGOYk-12g21Q23jiNJCG8zkk060B4vEAB66kjTR1vX2uJB91GYMggZ3v_3S69tqHUN_8rrwxv0KNU8fRoJAI8Zmh9kkd4DZ2cSYN1EtCPMo0oSnBwOocxUH6Uiz0A2MeOMH3/s320/Lisas+BEFORE+on+face.JPG" width="237" /></a></div>Of course, start with a clean dry face! They tout this product to be a moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum, which hides imperfections. So, you should not have to use your regular moisturizer. Hmmmm, sounds to good to be true.<br />

Sorry, Whenever I hear Staniac, I think Maniac and that song from Flash Dance pops in my head. Annnnnnd, back to makeup.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB67I79__mA7tAdpQ6wRWlz_32_2Xhc3vRYA13TipgBdkgZMmNqvkhBq53FJe6nZduiTrXYWwC1Fl4TVDvzSGwXNKWUCneNebwYzNolgAOpfxQzZCXk6mAGpilFlBduGsXZCQgoUU8eWIt/s1600/BB4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" rca="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB67I79__mA7tAdpQ6wRWlz_32_2Xhc3vRYA13TipgBdkgZMmNqvkhBq53FJe6nZduiTrXYWwC1Fl4TVDvzSGwXNKWUCneNebwYzNolgAOpfxQzZCXk6mAGpilFlBduGsXZCQgoUU8eWIt/s320/BB4.jpg" width="191" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This stuff can go on lips or cheeks. Be warned, if you use your fingers to blend on your cheeks, they will be "stained" as well. SO move swiftly and wash quickly! I might know this from first hand experience. Although the applicator is great for lip application, it's not so handy for the cheeks. If you use a sponge, it will waste a lot of product. I LOVE it and use it on my self and have it in my kit.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">So there it is. My 40 year old face with the BB cream, Staniac and eyebrows. That's it! Not too shabby, eh?</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The BB cream by Dr Jart did not impress me, it is just OK. But I am a lover of the mineral makeup for my everyday makeup. If you are a liquid girl, this may be a great option if you are looking to shave off a couple of steps from your routine and save a few minutes. The Staniac is fun and gives you a nice natural pink glow on your cheeks and with it being a 2 in 1, that definitely speeds things up. I did this whole look in about 3 minutes.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">MAY ALL OF YOUR DAYS BE BEAUTIFUL!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">XOXO</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

The way it smells, the way it makes my skin look and feel.......fabulousness.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWiauJ7olZk0ThoIt6aBhdCVra7rKkEhJ7aemEnWc7nMtP6FzB2Kong11hHocEA7MnDxY6otuz2wpiuo1a1fJ2KeqhoovZkYgDlrFNtYVh8doWX5-AEiS1cGcJnMEdsiHRsACZH-vBxRNk/s1600/coconut+oil.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" fba="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWiauJ7olZk0ThoIt6aBhdCVra7rKkEhJ7aemEnWc7nMtP6FzB2Kong11hHocEA7MnDxY6otuz2wpiuo1a1fJ2KeqhoovZkYgDlrFNtYVh8doWX5-AEiS1cGcJnMEdsiHRsACZH-vBxRNk/s320/coconut+oil.jpg" width="312" /></a></div> You can find it all over. Here in the Vegas Valley, I like to go to Sunflower Market, but you can find it on line also. Generally, you want unrefined for your skin and hair and the refined for cooking and consumption. I like <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Coconut-Oil-Bodycare-15-Ounces/dp/B005P0L2CA/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1339039224&sr=8-4" target="_blank">Spectrum Coconut Oil</a> , you can get it on Amazon for under $9, the same product is about $13 at Whole Foods. Spectrum is the one that I use everyday. I have tried others and found them to be grainy or not as fragrant. The Spectrum leaves my skin soft and luminous and I smell like a cross between an almond joy and that yummy suntan oil on the beach smell. Deeeeelicous!!! There is virgin and gold label, glass jars, etc. <a href="http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm" target="_blank">This Virgin Coconut Oil</a> comes in glass jar or a tub, but you will pay considerably more. <a href="http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/what_is_virgin_coconut_oil.htm" target="_blank">Click here to read about the differences between virgin and refined</a>. <br />
The "they's" say that Coconut oil is one of the closest to our own oils and therefore is easily assimilated by the skin and body. The smell alone is intoxicating, close your eyes and you are on a tropical beach, lying in the sand.<br />
It comes solid, but not hard...think room temperature butter, that's, kind of, the consistency. Although here in Vegas, mine has not been solid for a month! Its been so warm here, even with the a/c going my Coconut Oil is straight liquid. I have put it in a squeeze bottle and will use it that way during our hot months. You can use this from head to toe. And when I say head to toe, I mean head to toe. It's great for your hair, face AND body. Massage it in like you would any lotion or oil. You can even add some essential oils if you want to give the scent a little extra yumminess. Dry desert skin no more! <a href="http://www.organicfacts.net/organic-oils/organic-coconut-oil/health-benefits-of-coconut-oil.html" target="_blank">Click here to read about all of the benefits </a> you can get externally and internally from coconut oil.<br />
I will NEVER go back to lotion! Go give it a try!<br />
<br />
May all of your days be beautiful (and yummy smelling),<br />

It's a little bit more expensive compared to some other styling products you can find at any convenient drug store shelf, but I guarantee that those few extra dollars you spend on this product will leave other in a daze, and leaving your hair feeling and looking beautiful for any time of the day. Another amazing thing about it and why I love it so much is cause you don't have to use all that much so a bottle it going to last awhile. I know that the package says it’s for fine hair but take it from me a professional Hairstyles and makeup artist that it also works on thick and wavy just fine. You will love the extra volume and body your hair has when using this product, it really keeps your hair from turning into a big frizzy mess on those humid summer days.<br />
Here are some simple instructions for using this product, <br />
•Do not shake the bottle. <br />
•Spray 1-2 pumps into your hand<br />
•Apply the product to your damp hair.<br />
•Rub your hands together to distribute evenly.<br />
•Distribute near the roots for added lift.<br />
•Use a round brush and blow dry your hair to create volume.<br />
•Alternatively, use a diffuser while blow drying to create soft curls that keep their shape. Or you can simply just distribute it evenly through your hair and style it to your preference without applying heat.<br />
Ta-da! Gorgeous hair!<br />
<br />
And remember, simplicity is the luxury of beauty. <br />

<div style="text-align: center;"> <span style="color: #a64d79; font-size: large;"><strong><u>MakeUp Forever: Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation</u></strong></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I've finally found my holy grail foundation with the Make Up Forever: Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation! I have tried so many different foundations from Becca to MAC and everything in between and still haven'tfound anything that compares to this. I have super oily and acne-prone skin. I have found that this foundation looks very good on my skin type. </div><br />
</div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HnZ_Y-v3Aqg/T7nCRC29C6I/AAAAAAAAABg/HsijJFa-B38/s1600/i+one.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HnZ_Y-v3Aqg/T7nCRC29C6I/AAAAAAAAABg/HsijJFa-B38/s1600/i+one.png" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation</td></tr>
</tbody></table><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
<br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">First things first, when applying any kind of makeup be sure to start with a freshly washed and moisturized face (very important!) I shake the foundation bottle up (with the cap on, of course :) to make sure that all of the ingredients are properly mixed first. I then put a smalldrop on the back of my hand and I used my index, middle and ring fingers to blend the foundation on my face. The foundation goes on very sheer but you will see the coverage building slowly. When applied with my fingers, I am able to achieve a natural daytime look.</div><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">This foundation is amazing! You can easily wear it during the daytime or build it up for a nice, flawless night time look. When I want more coverage, I use a foundation brush(which is always Brush #190 by MAC), to apply the foundation. One of the things I love most about this foundation is that although it is liquid, the foundation never looks heavy on my skin. Additionally, they have such an array of colors from the lightest porcelain shades to the deepest mahogany! </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
<br />
</div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Brush #190 by MAC</td></tr>
</tbody></table><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Regardless of the application method, my foundation stays in place and remains matte throughout the day. This product is transfer-resistant, water-resistantand oil-free so I'm able to wear it year round with no problem (Which is great for the Vegas heat!). I like to finish my look off with MUFE HD Microfinish Powder for an airbrushed, matte, radiant finish. If you've been looking for the perfect foundation for your oily skin, look no further!</div><br />

It's that time of year again!! At least in Las Vegas it is. Summer temperatures forced us into summer dresses and bathing suits back in April (it hit 100). So, for those of us who don't have time to bask in the sun or for those of you who avoid the sun like the plague, you can still get that sun kissed look.<br />
<br />
Easy-peasy.<br />
<br />
I started on Ingrid with Bare Minerals new tinted moisturizer with spf 20. Nice glow and that slight tint along with the glow helps diffuse imperfections. And Ingrid wants that because I will not be putting foundation on her today. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9LH6HYXBzsTLEr4p1vyxE7YsU2cnoB2AasandYUVWtvonf7-KLlTQkDXqetpPH-cJkwxXigPn5k2EUv0aZodjGCiplZYtCzn5TJ9Qk3MyMpj3w_IS_ku9Y0I8YpPBXkhThsxTk0F8KZrx/s1600/moist.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dba="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9LH6HYXBzsTLEr4p1vyxE7YsU2cnoB2AasandYUVWtvonf7-KLlTQkDXqetpPH-cJkwxXigPn5k2EUv0aZodjGCiplZYtCzn5TJ9Qk3MyMpj3w_IS_ku9Y0I8YpPBXkhThsxTk0F8KZrx/s320/moist.jpg" width="115" /></a></div><br />
Next I used A Little Sun by Bare Escentuals (this is equivalent to a bronzer). I like that its got gold in it. You want to hit cheek bones, across the middle of your forehead, down the bridge of your nose and chin. You can do one layer or a few, to build up more of a "tan". <br />
Curl your lashes (DO IT!! Don't be scared of that thing. You are the boss of your lash curler).<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">See...It makes such a difference! (right is curled, left is not)<br />
It makes your eyes look bigger and your lashes look longer!</td></tr>

<br />
In my 28 years on this earth, I have never LOVED my haircut and didn't even really like my curly hair until my girlfriend Monique to me to a salon that was accustomed to cutting curly hair. They cut it short. I haven't wanted straight hair since then. Growing up I wanted so badly for my hair to be straight like "everybody" else's. I now totally dig it and have finally got a cut perfect for my curly hair. All thanks to Danielle Green here in good old Henderson, NV at The District!! I FINALLY have my perfect afro! It is definitely not easy finding someone to cut it just right or find the right product that will let your curls bounce and shine and be beautiful. I have tried everything from hairspray (what was I thinking!?) to texturizing creams, gels, mousses, shine serums and more. The regimen is......... Mixed Chicks leave in conditioner (www.mixedchicks.net)<br />
<div><br />

</div><div><br />
</div><div> This holds and gives shine and also helps prevent breakage. Just work it through with your fingers. This stuff is the bomb. My shampoo and conditioner are vegan paraben sulfate free business that is not curly hair specific. So these two products are what make it happen! <br />

Now you can have it!<br />
This one is for you Soonya!<br />
<br />
A couple of things first.....do not do your foundation first. Doing a smokey eye can get messy. So start with the eye makeup, once you are done, you can easily clean up any fallout with a q-tip and some eye makeup remover. THEN, you put on foundation and conceal!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
1. Prime your eye with a good eye primer. For the smokey eye, I like a matte, flesh toned eye primer. Use this from lash line to just above your crease.<br />
2.Curl those lashes!!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
3. Next Use the lightest color from just above the crease to under the brow bone.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLc8khndIKj1yL6g7R1MQ7xdLqZ75jyx1bQy_fqVZLo0BjbnuQjUo3PTAtH-WpiwhmAd4yBhwnakfIEi-9C9SMxFd3SOjKOEHMIVLzDPaD4gD_iY_81KO-CkDZ6KDo04MZC4eBnyLD0bFZ/s1600/smokey+eye+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img aea="true" border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLc8khndIKj1yL6g7R1MQ7xdLqZ75jyx1bQy_fqVZLo0BjbnuQjUo3PTAtH-WpiwhmAd4yBhwnakfIEi-9C9SMxFd3SOjKOEHMIVLzDPaD4gD_iY_81KO-CkDZ6KDo04MZC4eBnyLD0bFZ/s320/smokey+eye+4.jpg" width="179" /></a><br />
4. Now, take your black shadow and put it from the lash line to the top of the round of your eyeball, just covering the lid. You can make this lighter or darker, depending on your preference.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje8Dx6SQo3TOBcEHkmkf93GHBjJUjJiPRUeRulg_EDtD6O52LDD3ggv2Os_4N6Ne9Of6lbLM2c0mh9Wl-oyt3cdXk7mWT5zZU3yWnnLGi9FQRILhEYcC7voBrmvaFlBmu14YR32ZgyE_ON/s1600/smokey+eye+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img aea="true" border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje8Dx6SQo3TOBcEHkmkf93GHBjJUjJiPRUeRulg_EDtD6O52LDD3ggv2Os_4N6Ne9Of6lbLM2c0mh9Wl-oyt3cdXk7mWT5zZU3yWnnLGi9FQRILhEYcC7voBrmvaFlBmu14YR32ZgyE_ON/s320/smokey+eye+5.jpg" width="179" /></a><br />
5. Use your crease brush to blend the line between the dark and light shadow by going back and forth.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLeDG6VhjfhqoT8gMGNk8csfQYAkAPuSu_d0NtWoQHTigDoulxEV5oImnvBIJcSS_xJ7mXMp2I1h5bkhPpS4w3q-3BxCfWcoXOsDA29ZoIvymrIBtV0fV65lPh6rYgxJEQemmA1JKsN1Fa/s1600/smokey+eye+6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img aea="true" border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLeDG6VhjfhqoT8gMGNk8csfQYAkAPuSu_d0NtWoQHTigDoulxEV5oImnvBIJcSS_xJ7mXMp2I1h5bkhPpS4w3q-3BxCfWcoXOsDA29ZoIvymrIBtV0fV65lPh6rYgxJEQemmA1JKsN1Fa/s320/smokey+eye+6.jpg" width="179" /></a><br />
6. Line your top and bottom with black eyeliner. Make sure you get as close to the lash line (or in the lash line (as possible).<br />
<br />
7.Take a smudger with your black eyeshadow and go over where you put eyeliner.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0H6ERkPdD-FUw75xYf8RkarYvEpJCZIzIQDoXzjr5OEmXQmB_Mi4OKJy5VPMeRXOu9wmK1GUm1swSX9uWBgYlgSM0g7DQ52jYdNBART5wd_zVGPtghH6YoTKjli0shxtBc2SOzB_qKQjO/s1600/smokey+eye+8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img aea="true" border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0H6ERkPdD-FUw75xYf8RkarYvEpJCZIzIQDoXzjr5OEmXQmB_Mi4OKJy5VPMeRXOu9wmK1GUm1swSX9uWBgYlgSM0g7DQ52jYdNBART5wd_zVGPtghH6YoTKjli0shxtBc2SOzB_qKQjO/s320/smokey+eye+8.jpg" width="179" /></a><br />
8. Work that mascara! Top and bottom. <br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCdKM-w1ts7N8-iO0m1rsH2c6SUTzSdVQ7kY7YP0hHrY3XBpUXNy1_j1usGeAQ00mEDMZ1acmMxbqiAFSxxjmXOzsXlzZFTuobg3W4jW9H8QVsQgkQdk3g8wMNwy8DqKxkmo81PP25UF5m/s1600/smokey+eyey9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img aea="true" border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCdKM-w1ts7N8-iO0m1rsH2c6SUTzSdVQ7kY7YP0hHrY3XBpUXNy1_j1usGeAQ00mEDMZ1acmMxbqiAFSxxjmXOzsXlzZFTuobg3W4jW9H8QVsQgkQdk3g8wMNwy8DqKxkmo81PP25UF5m/s320/smokey+eyey9.jpg" width="179" /></a><br />
9. Ta-Da!!!! Smokey-licious!<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir5Vo2-mNJHSFoNQYQWW9-4Rj2_14lfEjYwMzJ04SdAfgClVmTgZHuoQEfRQIo8E_Cr-5ifG2vGt7n53DrLoQJ8zO4R0Zw7z6LhH7Q0uRvWz3RUdWzhNb6drcSAfLF3Q_EtAkSuHYrrlMT/s1600/smokey+eye+10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img aea="true" border="0" height="179" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir5Vo2-mNJHSFoNQYQWW9-4Rj2_14lfEjYwMzJ04SdAfgClVmTgZHuoQEfRQIo8E_Cr-5ifG2vGt7n53DrLoQJ8zO4R0Zw7z6LhH7Q0uRvWz3RUdWzhNb6drcSAfLF3Q_EtAkSuHYrrlMT/s320/smokey+eye+10.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
10. Now clean up the mess you made under your eye with all the black eyeshadow, do your eyebrows and the rest and you are good to go!!<br />

</div><div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: center;">Overall it's ok, but not my favorite mascara. It gives a very natural feathery look to the lashes. Which is pretty but I just prefer more length and volume to my lashes. I could tell though after only wearing it once it has a lot of great ingredients because my lashes felt healthier after taking it off.</div><div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: center;">So if you like a very natural look to your lashes this mascara is for YOU.</div><div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: center;"><br />
